I went to this Six Flags once, in 2000 (when it was still Jazzland). I had a fun time, but it surely wasn’t the greatest amusement park in the world. It’s haunting seeing these images, but I love seeing them.

The muffuletta is my favorite sandwich, by far. And for me the gold standard has always been Central Grocery. I’ve had countless muffulettas from other locations, but to me, the original has always been the best.

However, I have a new favorite muffuletta (as of two weeks ago). The one from Cochon Butcher is smaller (and cheaper), but it’s full of meat (which is homemade) and there’s a thin layer of olive salad on both sides of the bread.

I still love Central’s sandwich, but Butcher’s is slightly better in my book.

This was an incredible show!  Tammy and I had a blast.  They played for over 2 1/2 hours, and it was high-energy the entire time.  Everyone stood the whole time.  We were getting tired just watching them.  Great songs, great fun.  If you have a chance to see Green Day play live, go see them.
