<p>The muffuletta is my favorite sandwich, by far. And for me the gold standard has always been Central Grocery. I&#8217;ve had countless muffulettas from other locations, but to me, the original has always been the best.</p>
<p>However, I have a new favorite muffuletta (as of two weeks ago). The one from <a href="http://www.cochonbutcher.com/">Cochon Butcher</a> is smaller (and cheaper), but it&#8217;s full of meat (which is homemade) and there&#8217;s a thin layer of olive salad on both sides of the bread.</p>
<p>I still love Central&#8217;s sandwich, but Butcher&#8217;s is slightly better in my book.</p>
